Description
Egged-out bolt holes on your RZR’s a-arm tabs don’t mean a new frame. These M12 weld washers for suspension mounts repair the wallowed hole and leave it stronger than stock — chromoly that’s harder than the factory tabs, with more surface area for the bolt to bear on. Fixing the front end anyway? See our Performance SxS Lower A-Arm Bushings and Radius Rod Plates.
How the repair works
Just drill the bolt hole out to 3/4″ and weld these in. Purchase 16 weld-in washers to give your a-arm mounting points on your Turbo S an overhaul.
- Made from chromoly steel
- Increases the strength of suspension mounting tabs
- Reduces wear on tabs and bolts via increased surface area
- Harder, more wear-resistant than factory steel frame
- Fits M12 bolts
- Sold in sets of 4
Note: 3/4″ drill bit required. We also suggest a 10″ drill bit extension to aid in drilling the a-arm tabs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I fix egged-out a-arm bolt holes on a RZR?
Drill the damaged hole out to 3/4″, weld in an M12 weld washer, and bolt it back together. The chromoly washer gives the bolt a bearing surface that’s harder than the factory tab, so the hole doesn’t egg out again.
What is a weld washer?
A thick machined washer with a precise M12 bore. You drill the wallowed-out hole oversize, weld the washer in its place, and the bolt rides on the washer instead of the thin factory tab. It’s the standard fix for egged-out suspension holes — and far cheaper than replacing arms or frame members.
Which machines do M12 weld washers for suspension fit?
Anything with M12 suspension bolts. On the Polaris side that includes the RZR XP 1000, RZR XP Turbo, RZR Turbo S, RS1, and General. Pro R and Turbo R run larger suspension hardware — call 530-492-0429 before ordering for those.
How many do I need?
One washer per damaged hole. A set of 4 runs $24, and sixteen washers — four sets — overhauls the a-arm mounting points on a Turbo S.
What tools does the install take?
A 3/4″ drill bit (required), a 10″ bit extension to reach the a-arm tabs, and a welder. Don’t weld? Any local fab shop can burn a set of these in quickly.
Why chromoly instead of mild steel?
It’s harder and more wear-resistant than the factory steel frame, so the repaired hole keeps its shape under suspension load instead of slowly egging out again.
How fast do they ship?
Orders ship within 5 business days, often sooner. Free shipping to the Lower 48.
